The Walking Stano

The appointment with The Walking Stano, the non-competitive race led by Olympic walker Massimo Stano, fourth in the 20 km in Paris after returning from an injury, is back again.

The sporting event, now in its second edition, changes location: this year it has as its backdrop the pine forest of Ostia, the main venue for the daily training sessions of Stano, a pupil of Patrick Parcesepe; furthermore it takes place in a single event, unlike the three stages of the 2023 edition.

In any case, the race is once again part of a day dedicated to sport and solidarity: in fact, a large part of the proceeds from registrations are donated to the Foundation for research against cystic fibrosis. Last year, thanks to the event, €7,500 was collected and donated at the end of the final stage in Palo del Colle.
