The splendid Piazza del Campidoglio hosts the award ceremony of the International Prize for Journalism and Information, dedicated to the memory of the former RAI Director General, presented by Mara Venier and Alberto Matano.
Promoted by the Biagio Agnes Foundation, in collaboration with RAI and partnership with Confindustria, the Biagio Agnes Prize combines the prestige of the most renowned representatives of the press and communication world with an event dedicated to the journalistic profession in all its aspects.
The different prizes, awarded by the jury chaired by Gianni Letta, range from the many fields of journalism to radio, from fiction to essay writing, and from television to the under-40s. Among the winners of the 16th edition are Nello Scavo and Salvatore Merlo - Prize for Print Media; Giulio Leoni - Prize for Essayist and Writer; Federico Rampini, Prize for Journalist-Writer; Justine Bellavita and Mia Ceran, Prize for Digital Generation-Podcast; Barbara Carfagna - Prize for Dissemination of Science, and the TV Series Un Professore for the Fiction Prize.
During the event, by invitation and to be broadcast on Raiuno on Monday 8 July in the late evening, are also on the schedule a series of cultural initiatives on issues of interest and relevance with the participation of representatives of the institutions, entrepreneurs, journalists and the involvement of the major national media.
