The Made in Italy Week is organized with the support of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. Its aim consists in enhancing the excellence of Italian craftsmanship and giving a voice to ancient crafts and unique products, bringing together big names of national and international renown under one roof to build relationships, create new business opportunities and entice young people to learn more and embark on this path.
The event takes place in the halls of the Casina Valadier, in the heart of Villa Borghese park: the closing day, 15 April, coincides with the first national Made in Italy Day, called to coincide with the anniversary of the birth of Leonardo Da Vinci, a symbol of Italian creativity and intellect in the world.
The program of the event includes a series of activities such as thematic roundtables, live experiences and moments of meeting and sharing between top institutional representatives and entrepreneurs on the challenges and opportunities for the Made in Italy sector. Many small- and medium-sized producers are invited to take part in the event and make their art known. Through live demonstrations, it will be possible to watch the artisan at work and learn the techniques used during the entire production process that lead to the creation of an authentic Made in Italy product.
