Villaggio per la Terra

Four days entirely dedicated to the Earth with events, meetings, shows with free admission and a village with play and educational workshops designed for children. Conceived by Earth Day Italy, Villaggio per la Terra - Village for the Earth is a big party to celebrate World Earth Day on 22 April and promote the themes of environmental and social sustainability.

The Villa Borghese park provides the setting for sports, cultural and artistic activities. On the stage set up on the Pincio Terrace, emerging and established artists, street performers, DJs and young performers take turns each day with a succession of performances of all kinds, from afternoon until late evening. In-depth meetings on current affairs and the major themes of sustainable development are hosted in the conference tent while the Sport4Earth Village offers everyone the chance to experience a large number of sports disciplines for free, some of them very original, including tournaments, demonstrations and meetings with great champions.

Finally, in the Galoppatoio di Villa Borghese, 17 multimedia squares are dedicated to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, with meetings, conferences, workshops, presentations and debates by the many organizations that join the event each year. Special attention is given to the world of science with collaborations and activities with prestigious research institutes and entities engaged in science popularization.
