Authentic, refined, intense: Fiorella Mannoia arrives in Rome for two eagerly awaited concerts-events against the majestic backdrop of the Baths of Caracalla as part of the summer season of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
The Roman artist, born in 1954, takes the stage accompanied, for the first time, by a symphonic orchestra to celebrate an extraordinary birthday in a summer tour that sees her perform in some of Italy's most prestigious locations.
After the release of the album Luce, realised with Danilo Rea, the singer took part in the last Sanremo Festival with Mariposa, the song of which she is also co-author, dedicated to the nuances of all women and with which she was awarded the Sergio Bardotti Prize for the best lyrics in the competition.
Consecrated in 1984 by the single Come si cambia, interpreter of timeless songs such as Quello che le donne non dicono, a hymn to female strength and sensibility, Le notti di maggio, Il cielo d'Irlanda, and I treni a vapore, Fiorella Mannoia returns to enchant audiences with her stories and her unique and magnetic voice.
