Charisma, technique and energy: the legendary British rock band returns to the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone as part of the Roma Summer Fest 2024 for the first of two Italian legs of their international tour.
On stage, the frontman Ian Gillian, Roger Glover on bass, Don Airey on keyboards, Ian Paice on drums and Simon McBride on guitar perform the unforgettable classics that, since their beginnings, have consecrated them as true Hard Rock pioneers who strongly influenced the 1970s music scene.
Their unique, eclectic style and boundless passion are the distinctive features of a band that, despite line-up changes over the years, has made their music legendary, with albums such as Machine Head (1972), Perfect Strangers (1984), NOW What?! (2013), inFinite (2017) and Whoosh! (2020), which entered the international top ten, and the latest collection of covers Turning to Crime (2021).
The 'Kings of Rock' boast an extraordinary career: over 100 million copies sold and numerous awards, including the Legend Award at the 2008 World Music Awards and, in 2016, the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Cleveland museum dedicated to music icons.
