The evocative Baths of Caracalla host the famous Italian singer-songwriter, who performs in an eagerly awaited concert as part of his Samuele Bersani & Orchestra 2024 on the occasion of the Caracalla Festival 2024, the summer festival of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
A refined and sensitive artist, Bersani takes to the stage accompanied by an orchestra to present his best-known songs in an original version, also bringing to light the passion and interest in composition and symphonic music he already had as a child as the son of a flautist.
In an intense and poetic performance, the voice and music of the interpreter from Romagna merge with the evocative notes of the Orchestra for a journey that tells an extraordinary artistic story: from the greatest hits, such as Spaccacuore, Chicco e Spillo and Freak, to the songs of the latest album Cinema Samuele.
Born in 1970, Samuele Bersani boasts a very long career, which began in the early 1990s: after the great success obtained with the album Freak, he has collaborated with great artists, including Lucio Dalla, Mina, Fiorella Mannoia, Fabio Concato, Stefano Bollani, Sergio Cammariere and Ornella Vanoni, with whom he sang a duet in the unreleased Calma Rivoluzionaria, and has received numerous awards such as 2 Lunezia Prizes and 5 Targhe Tenco.
