Along the Tiber… Rome

The event, much loved by the Romans and not only, is back more vital than ever in a new edition after the stop of previous years due to the pandemic, to enhance the summer of the capital, of which it represents the symbol. Along the path that winds from Ponte Sublicio to Ponte Sisto we find photographic and film exhibitions, exhibitions, craft stands or stands related to the environment, culture, literature, music, thanks to the cultural program full of events dedicated to children and adults.The docks, renovated and redeveloped by the La Vela d’Oro (The Golden Sail) Cultural Association, therefore offer us beautiful evenings dedicated to culture and entertainment.

This year the program of "Scene - Cinema along the Tiber" is very rich and varied with guests such as Carlo Verdone, Paolo Virzì, Paola Minaccioni, Beatrice Baldacci, Franco Angeli and many others. In addition, every evening a free screening at 21.30. At Ponte Garibaldi we find a Spazio Libri, to emphasize the cultural aspect of the popular event; Also noteworthy is the "Salotto Tevere" ("Tiber sitting room"), the cultural space coordinated by the Artistic Director Giò Di Sarno, Neapolitan singer-songwriter and journalist, Roman by adoption. Every Wednesday scheduled appointments for the "IusArteLibri: Il Ponte della Legalità” (“The Bridge of Legality”) literary prize, created by the lawyer Antonella Sotira, president of the cultural association between lawyers and magistrates "IusGustando & IusDisputando: Legal Symposiums" which feature lounge-debates animated by lawyers, magistrates, academics, writers and journalists, followed by convivial moments. Finally, not to be missed is “Gli spettacoli del giovedì"("The Thursday shows") curated by the well-known author and director Fabrizio Giannini, a lover of Roman history and traditions. We remember his audiobook “Serenata a Trilussa” (“Serenade to Trilussa”) to oin which he interprets the poems of the great Roman poet.
