Nicola Piovani - Music is dangerous

Nicola Piovani - La musica è pericolosa ph. Auditorium Parco della Musica Official Website

“Music is dangerous, as all truly beautiful things are: they change us, sometimes they enchant us with their beauty, like teen love affairs ... it’s dangerous to come across a beauty that has the power to change us”. Nicola Piovani

Christmas Time with the Oscar winner – the author of some of the most beautiful and famous soundtracks of the last decades – who returns on the stage of the Auditorium Parco della Musica with his journey of notes and suggestions.

A story that combines melodies, images and words: that is the essence of Music is dangerous. Famous songs, rearranged for the occasion, and unpublished theatrical pieces retrace the extraordinary stages of life and career of the Roman pianist, conductor and composer, born in 1946. Music give life to a narration marked by the instruments on stage: piano, clarinet, cello, guitar, sax, and double bass.

Piovani tells the audience the meaning of the windy paths that led him to collaborate with great artists to cross the limits of the words with music and celebrate the encounter with beauty. Among them are unforgettable Italian artists, such as De André, Fellini and Magni, and international directors and musicians.
