Twenty-two million euros is the value of the decree signed by the Ministro per i beni e le attività culturali e per il turismo, Dario Franceschini. Twelve million euros, of the resources of the Emergency Fund for enterprises and cultural institutions established by the Ristori decree-law to support the specialized publishing industry in art and tourism, while the remaining 10 million will be allocated to support the providers of guide services audio guide and didactics in institutes and places of culture.
Ten million euros will support companies with main ATECO code 58.11.00 that are registered in Italy, in the Camera di commercio industria artigianato e agricoltura, and are in compliance with social security, tax, and insurance obligations, have no bankruptcy procedures, have published or exclusively distributed at least 10 editorial news in 2019, have at least 30% of the exclusive production and distribution catalog, as regards tourism, consisting of publications tourism, have at least 30% of the catalog of exclusive production or distribution consisting of art publication and facsimile reproductions and have published at least two catalogs of art exhibitions and collections in 2019.
Two million euros will support companies with main ATECO code 58.11, 58.14, or 58.19 that have their registered office in Italy, are registered as a newspaper as of March 1, 2019, are in good standing with social security, tax, and insurance contribution obligations, do not have bankruptcy procedures, have at least 70% of the published content relating to the world of art and exhibitions, including editorial content, on paper and digital editions, and sectoral advertising sales.
The Direzione generale Biblioteche e diritto d’autore will publish a notice with the methods and deadlines for submitting applications for grants. Interested parties will submit an application for assistance, electronically, within 10 days of the publication of the notice, using the forms prepared by the same Direzione Generale.
For the amount of 10 million euros reserved for providers of a guide, audioguide, and teaching services to institutions and places of culture, subjects with prevalent activity in these areas or subjects with main ATECO code 91.02 or 91.03 who they work in cultural institutes and places for the same services, in possession of the following requirements: have their registered office in Italy; be in compliance with the obligations regarding social security, tax, and insurance contributions; absence of bankruptcy procedures.
Within 5 days from the date of registration of the decree by the Supervisory Bodies, the Direzione Generale Musei will publish a specific notice with the methods and deadlines for submitting applications for grants, as well as for document checks and for the assignment of grants. Interested parties will submit an application for assistance, electronically, within 10 days following the publication of the notice, using the forms prepared by the same Directorate General.
The decree was sent to the control bodies for registration.
