Until 28 August, the Museum of Rome - Palazzo Braschi is extraordinarily open for suggestive evening visits to the great exhibition path, conceived for the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Rome as the Capital of Italy.

Roma. Nascita di una capitale 1870 - 1915 is the immersive narration of historical events, urban transformations and architecture of the new capital, in dialogue with socio-cultural changes: through approximately 600 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, graphics, photographs, documentary material, and original period films, the exhibition depicts the different aspects linked to politics, art, commerce, nascent industries, tourism, sports, social, and worldly life and recreate the image of a city aimed at modernity.

Every Wednesday and Saturday, the exhibition opening hours are exceptionally extended until 22.00 (last admission at 20.40), with the possibility of free guided tours at 19.00 and 20.00, for a maximum of 15 people per shift. For the visits, with the ticket purchase, a reservation is required by calling the contact centre 060608.
