Founded by the famous violinist Robert McDuffie in 2003, the Rome Chamber Music Festival arrives for the first time on the historic stage of the Teatro Argentina, located in the heart of ancient Rome.
This year, in its 19th edition, the Festival offers classical masterpieces and contemporary songs. A selection of baroque music and arias, masterpieces by Schubert, Brahms, and Stravinsky, the genius of Respighi and Glass, up to the most beautiful songs on Broadway and David Bowie interpreted by 44 famous professional artists and rising stars.
In addition to the great masters, the Rome Chamber Music Festival presents its young artists and a brand-new initiative: the Steven Della Rocca Young Professional Program, which gives young professionals an unmissable opportunity for professional growth.

The evening is dedicated to F. Schubert’s masterpiece Death and the Maiden and J. Brahms' piano and string quintet in F minor with the violin Guarneri del Gesù by Robert McDuffie.
Monday, 27 June at 8 pm
Serata Incanto. The most beautiful baroque arias, executed by great performers including Sara Mingardo, and the songs of the American Broadway tradition: S. Sondheim, L. Bernstein, N. Rorem, V. Thomson, J. Musto, A. Ronell, Rodgers and Hammerstein, W. Bolcom.
Tuesday 28 June at 8 pm
An evening dedicated to Igor Stravinsky, Dumbarton Oaks, concert in E flat and Samuel Barber, and the most beautiful songs of David Bowie, hip hop finale with the trapper Bob Lennon.
Wednesday 29 June at 8 pm
Ottorino Respighi and his masterpieces I Pini di Roma and Le Fontane di Roma is the protagonist of the closing evening. Grand finale with Philip Glass, Concerto n.2 for violin and the American Four Seasons performed by Robert McDuffie.
